ArtEffect Support: FAQ
Virtual Memory Q: I have some problem with AF Vm manager. The about requester recognize the amount of virtual memory set in the preferences: in my case a swap file of 60 megabyte. But when i try to load a picture more large then the capacity of free RAM, AF say "out of memory". In contrast i have no problem with VMM thet work with a 60 mega partition.

A: AE 2.0 uses the VMem only for Undo and internal operations, not for graphics bigger that your memory. That is a limitation we are working on. I think this is told by the Guide file on the disk.

Refresh Q: When a pop menu disappear in a picture window the program don't redraw the picture in this zone. So i must force a picture redraw with a window resize. I have a Cybervision3D and i use 800*600*24bit screen.

A: Yes, we know that, but we do not know what is the reason for that. Maybe a problem of Wizard.Library.
