Subject: installing kernel sources doesn't upgrade /usr/lib/X11/config/linux.cf
Package: xstd
Version: 3.1.2
Revision: 1
linux.cf has stuff in it like:
#define OSName Linux
#define OSVendor /**/
#define OSMajorVersion 1
#define OSMinorVersion 2
#define OSTeenyVersion 1
Of course, this won't change as the system is upgraded.
I think we could at least provide for recognizing the version of the
running kernel... [Obviously, cross-compilation introduces too many
options to be dealt with automatically.]
I suppose it would be really ideal to have a gnu configure script set
up to build linux.cf...
