Description: Very small addon that basically takes a word or a phrase that you supply and does a websearch on it with the http://www.searchtraffic.com website. The addon is accessable through the menubar and channel popups, which pops up a dialog window with an editbox. You can also use the /search alias, or type &find (search string) when you are connected to a server. The addon works but really could use some more error checking IMHO ... For example, I can use the /search command with any parameters and the addon will start working. The author could also use local variables and aliases in the future ...

Title: Secret Mail

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon with dialogs windows that allows you to send email when specifying the mail server. The addon actually comes equipped with a smtp server, however it doesn't seem to just accept emails from anyone anymore. When I try to send an email with that, it doesn't work. The author included a readme file with all the necessary information - you should have problems at all understanding how this works. I didn't really run into major bugs. When you chose the "Clear" button and your previous email was on seperate lines then the lines other for the first will not be cleared. Also, the author could have made it more convenient by allowing the user to press Enter in order to skip from one line onto the other in the dialog edit box (for the message). Beyond that, there's not much to comment on. Everything is clean and very presentable. The coding is good, I would have liked to see local aliases for some of the functions though. :)

Title: Seen Memory 1.3

Format: Win OS

Description: This is more or less the English version of the previously reviewed French addon "Seen Memory". There are some slight problems with English throughout the addon but we can certainly ignore that. As with the French version, this addon only appears to work with mIRC v5.8 and not v5.81. The author included a nice readme file with setup instructions, contact information and various other tips as usual. The addon is easily loaded and will give you a type of introduction screen the first time around. Btw, as a sidenote to evil_dead, the spaces in directory names can be worked around when you use " " around the directory name. As usual, the main dialog is faily full containing the addons various options along with a help section for each section and also some graphics and general display enhancements. The script is quite advanced, compared to other seen scripts. Title: ShadowBlaze Socks-Notify 1

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon script with dialog interface that allows you to connect to a given IRC server and check to see if up to 5 people are online or not. You can chose to disconnect right after checking, message them with a preset message or even chat with them (creation of a custom window). Please note that the socket clone will always join the channel #sbsn. One thing I have to mention is that the script shouldn't have been made into an executable file. The addon has a total of 4 files which makes a total of about 16KB. Making it into an executable got it to a total of about 37KB. However, the author wrote nice readme/faq files which explains exactly what the script does, some of its features and how it works. From what I can tell, the script appears to work fairly well .. there are a few minor bugs though. In the presentation department: Some of the dialog items overlap for example .. All in all, an interesting concept and fairly well done.

Title: SilverMail 1

Format: Win OS

Description: Fairly complex and complete email client coded in mIRC scripting. Allows you to have different profiles, to view and send emails, contains address book, signature, etc. Work pretty well, eventhough there are a few bugs. :*) Very nicely made addon complete with a few graphics for decoration. The addon is supported through dialog windows which you can access through the popup menus or an alias. The included help file is quite complete with setup instructions and further contact information in addition the descriptions of the various sections. Everything seemed to work fairly well, which makes this script a very simple email client without the necessity of opening up a separate program. There are a few sections that I found a bit lacking, such as the inability to send a CC or a BCC of an email, but other than that, it's fairly complete. There are a few bugs, mainly with error checking. For example, when I press CANCEL on the dialog that asks me to chose a file for the signature, I get an error of
