Title: RattleSnake 2.3

Format: Win OS

Description: mIRC addon, game. Composed of a picture window where you see a moving string of black dots (the rattlesnake) and a red dot which you have to "eat" with your rattlesnake. Each time you eat a red dot, which is referred to as an apple, the snake grows longer. Total of 5 difficultly levels which you pick through a dialog window. Brief readme file telling you how to install the script and how to run it. While playing the game I didn't actually run into any errors, however, I noticed that the dialog window for setting the difficulty level is a bit too small. The OK button runs over at the bottom. The game itself is cute and a good way to idle away some time when you are bored. ;) The coding is good, being clean and easy to read. Well chosen variable names, etc ... Perhaps the use of local variables and more "return"s instead of "halt"s would been a little bit better though?

Title: Relay Script 1.1

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon script that allows you to echo what happens in one channel to another channel of your choice. Controlled through channel popups and a dialog window. The author took pains to write a fairly complete readme file with setup instructions, description, etc. Should be commended for that. :) The addon is also fairly easy to load and use, but there are a few problems that pop up .. First of all, there's a problem with the dialog window. You are required to type out the name of the channel that you want to "duplicate" (so to speak). Unfortunately, the editbox was given a horizontal scrollbar, which makes it impossible to see what you are typing. :) The addon does work though. The author appears to have forgotten some events such as kicks or ctcps, but beyond that, it's fine. Some error checking, better alias/variable names or just some code optimization would be nice. Not too bad for a first version though.

Title: Ren-Rens Fserve Navigator 1

Format: Win OS

Description: Fileserver navigator with dialog interface and various other options such as automatically compiling a list of fserves available in a channel, saving it, customizing it, history log, anti-idle, custom window for handling fileservers, etc. The author took pains to write a fairly complete readme file, which is to be commended. Setup instructions are given in addition to a description of the main features available in the addon. It's easy to setup and use, a default function key popping up the main dialog window ... aliases and popups are also supported. The dialog itself is well done. Tabs, menus, clean and easy to understand. While running through the script I have to say that it worked fairly well. One of the features I liked the most is the fact that it collects the fileservers available in a given channel. However, there are a few bugs in the script as well. For instance, the first time I tried to take a look at the fileservers in a channel, I got a huge list of 0's in the dialog listbox ins

Title: RuphServe 1

Format: Win OS

Description: This script is more of a full script than an addon. It's basically a rather extensive system to allow you to handle fileservers, etc. The author made the script's own windows help file, which is very nice. Besides that, there are also numerous other files, giving information about the previous versions & bug fixes, a readme/disclaimer type of file etc. You start using the script by unzipping it into it's own directory and then copying the mIRC executable in there. Note: You will *have* to use version 5.6, it doesn't work with any others (not even 5.61 - which is something I really don't understand). The script has quite a number of options, such as different user "profiles/accounts" if you will, ratio, stealth, by invitation only, ban of certain files, file validation, etc. It's obvious that there was quite a lot of effort put into it. However, there are quite a few points on the script that are a bit annoying. For one, it seemingly opens tons of custom windows on your taskbar ... all the erro

Title: SASL 1

Format: Win OS

Description: French addon script to check which port has the less lag to you. It doesn't seem to work with all servers. In fact, I didn't manage to get it working for any DALnet servers (the ones that I tried anyway) and only certain Undernet servers. The documentation is nice. Installation instructions are presented in a readme file and there is addition information in the dialog itself. To be honest, there really isn't much to say about this addon. It works sometimes and other times it does not. Even when it does work, I wonder sometimes if the information is all that accurate .. but anyways :o) The coding is alright as usual. Since I pointed out some of the areas which could be improved in the author's other scripts, I won't go into them here.
