Description: An addon script basically designed to protect you from getting banned. (Duh ;]) This script is nice and easy to use. It has some neat dialog which has a resize animation, not needed but cute. You use a main dialog for settings and such. This addon comes with a good bit of documentation. The help part built into the addon's dialog is in the main .ini file, useful to keep the multitude of files on a minimum. The documentation is thorough and comes with a version listing. The addon works just fine, but, for the people who do not like colors in the channel, might not like this. Even though you can toggle the inform features, personally I dont like colors. Anyways, You get to "punish" people for banning you. You can either: kick, ban, or deop. But not with any combination such as, kick and ban, or deop then kick+ban. You can specify channels that you dont want the protection in, comes in handy for strick channels which Im in often. Even though the addon is coded well, I wish the author didn't inclu

Description: Extensive away system that includes options such as auto-away on idle, preset away messages, logging options, pagers, themes, etc. The script includes a nice readme.txt file with installation instructions. There is also internal documentation provided by a neatly set out dialog window that allows you to chose the various options of the script from a listbox and thereby obtain information on the given feature. The script is easy to use, accessable by the channel popups. The default will be a dialog window, but you can choose the "popup mode" which will allow you to see, set and modify all the options through popups. The main dialog window and the popups are neatly set out and easy to understand. The script works well. The dialog windows with their enabled/disabled switches are well done. One thing that I didn't like though, was the preset section. Once you have set a message, the editboxes will be disabled (grayed out), not allowing you to modify them unless you close the dialog and re-enter th

Description: FRENCH Addon script with extensive channel protection. That includes actions against clones, swearing, flooding (text/action/ctcp/notice/join&parts/repeats/mass-*), constant nick changes, the various types of control codes, caps, blacklist, action against Microsoft MS Chat'ters, etc. It also some neat graphical statistical thingies. The author wrote a readme file (called Lisez-moi) that has the list of all the different features of the script. He has also included setup instructions and a few trouble shooting tips (in a manner of speaking, more like things to avoid :). The addon is therefore easily set up. When first loaded the *huge* dialog window will pop up. You will get to set all your options there and trust me, it will take you a while to look through them and to configure everything. Description: Very nice DALnet MemoServ addon that allows you to easily manage, write, send, receive your memos through a clean dialog interface. It also includes encryption options, memo arrival alert, the ability to block memos from certain users, etc. The script is very easy to setup as the *.zip file is only composed of two files, the readme text and the actual script itself. The author wrote an extensive readme covering installation instructions, list of features, list of requirements in order to be able to use the script, list of past versions, etc. The script is easily setup and it stores its information in two files, called memos.ini and memos.dat. You are not required to use the mIRC directory. There's also internal documentation in the guise of a dialog window with a pull down menu that allows you to chose various window names. By clicking on the options, the appropriate program will be launched or the corresponding IRC command will be sent. You have to set the location of the program first. Options include Browser (Internet), FTP, MP3, Away, Search, Nick Identification, etc. The MP3 is included in the addon. The scripter took pains to write a complete readme file. That's good ... it contains a description of the addon, installation and usage instructions, contact information, some trouble shooting tips, a list of all the features, etc. The quick launch bar opens automatically when you first start the script. However, be cautious. You cannot use it right away. It's imperative to use the popups (channel/nicklist) to configure all your options first (program locations, nick passwords, etc.).
