Title: Log Organiser 4

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon script with an interface of custom windows that allows you to manipulate/search through logs. You can view/rename/delete/copy log files and search through them. Very brief documentation in the form of a readme file. The "Log Organiser" custom window is accessed through popups. The window is presented in the form of a channel window (basically, with a side list box) and the popups within the window allow you to chose what to do. Everything works just fine ... no real bugs found. One thing that I personally think should be changed though: If the user cancels the popup window for a search pattern then the custom window called "@Logsearch" should be closed as well - or better yet, it shouldn't be opened in the first place. Coding is fine, well named variables. Author could have used "while" for loops though.

Title: Logger 1

Description: A small addon that logs certain stuff such as quits, kicks, topic changes, and URLS. Dialog included to select which parts you wish to log. No documentation was included which was a bit of a bummer, the script itself is commented in both English and French. The script stores all the logs into four txt files. Nothing too special here. It works though :) My only gripes with this script is that it only picks up URLs with WWW in them (i.e. not just the http:// urls), and the coding has been done so that if you have someone on your userlist with a named userlevel that the script will ignore him. Bad idea. Overall this script isn't much to look at nor does it have much functionality, however it may interest some of you.

Description: French MP3 script with dialog interface. It allows you to load all the mp3s from a directory, play at random, load playlists, adjust the volume, counts down the amount of time that is left to the song, has the usual playing controls, etc. It also allows you to rename, copy or delete a mp3. The documentation is good, in both the readme file and the built-in help dialog eventhough the author was quite vague about what has been changed since this version and the last one .. You actually unzip all the files into your main mIRC dir and it will create its own subdirectory with the main remote file left in the main dir. The dialogs are clean and fairly easy to use. While running through the script, I only ran into one little bug. You mute the sound by ticking a check box, however, unchecking it will not restore the sound. Beyond that, I was only slightly annoyed with one thing. In some cases, opening a new dialog will minimize all the other dialogs (they are set into the desktop mode) and closing the

Title: MCI Mp3 Player 1.6

Description: MP3 script that is dependant on a *.dll file. It allows you to play specific files, make up your own playlist, import a playlist from other programs while displaying the file specific information (time elapsed, time remaining, total time). The author has written a fairly complete documentation file with setup instructions, tips on how to use the addon, troubleshooting, contact information, etc. The script itself is also pretty easy to install and use. Once loaded, it will inform you that you can use the "/mplay" command to start up the addon. In the future, you can also access the script with the menubar popups. The script works fairly well. However, the main driving force behind the addon is really the *.dll file. The author worked mostly on the presentation and the layout, not specifically on the playing or the getting information of the MP3. A little bit more error checking would also be appropriate ... if you try to add a MP3 file and then change your mind by pressing "cancel" in the file
