Title: Leech-o-matic 2

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon script that consists of interpreting the data received from an opened fileserver and then creates a custom window, displaying the results and allowing you to use the fileserver even if you are not familiar with the appropriate commands. The addon has no documentation, however, it does seem to work fairly well. You can toggle the script through the menubar popups ... they are halfway dynamic. Everything else works through custom windows .. you modify the settings usually by double clicking or by using the popup menus created for these windows. I don't have much to comment on, except for the fact the author might consider the clearing the window when you switch from one directory to the next or at least seperate the listings of the different directories by a blank line. They are kind of hard to tell apart at the moment. The coding is not bad .. I would like to recommend the $iif() identifier to the author though. The variable names were well chosen, everything is clean and presentable. P.S

Title: Leetest text

Format: Win OS

Description: LeetestText is an addon that will allow you to speak in so-called 'elite' text in certain: scripting, hacker, etc.. channels where people make up words and characters that mean something (like: 31337 (elite)). Documentation was provided, and it was informative and to the point. It tells you a bit about the addon and how to get it loaded. It also gives some points on what certain features/aspects of the addon do, exactly. No complaints here. Not very long, though, so don't be expecting a *manual*. The so-called 'leetness' works mostly. It's pretty good at doing what it does. I had problems with it interferring with my theme system that I had. Just a note: Don't use this if you have a preloaded theme system on your mIRC session already. The coding is okay, for the most part. The author uses HALT where apparently he doesn't want any other addons interferring, so make sure that when you load this addon, you understand that no theming from other addons will occur, unless you reorder the script list

Title: Leprechaun Dialog Creator 1.1

Description: Leprechaun Dialog Creator is a dialog maker for mIRC used for creating customized mIRC dialogs. Since a lot of the creator has changed, I have included a lot more new comments rather than old ones. First off, let me just say this. This has to be one of the BEST addons that I have ever used. It is the best that I've ever seen for making dialogs within mIRC. I definately recommend this addon even with it's 2 minor problems! It works like a charm! The documentation provided was to the point and informative, providing loading information and information on how to use the addon itself. It also provided a version history, explaining differences & improvements from previous versions to this version. This new update almost completely fixes the problem with drag/dropping beyond the dialog creation window's boundaries. Although, it still has problems with the width (may have problems on higher resolutions as well). This new version is COMPLETELY drag/drop oriented. You just click the object you want to

Title: LifeLine 1

Format: Win OS

Description: Addon script with dialog support that's a little prediction as to what day you will die. The author included some documentation on how to install the script. Once you have loaded it, you can use the channel popup menu to chose the "lifeline" option which will pop up the dialog window for the addon. While the author did attempt a scrolling (smaller to bigger) effect, I have to admit that at the moment the difference between the sizes is so big that it's not very pleasant. The dialog window requires you to enter the several fields, your birthday and your full name before actually "predicting" the date of your death. As the addon does note, all the predictions are logged. However, the logs only display the full name and the birthday of the user and not what the prediction was. Also, if you did not completely enter some of the fields, the script does not error check and does an imcomplete log entry anyway. Cute little addon, but it probably becomes a bit tedious in the long run. More error checkin

Title: Liquid Scanner 1.2

Format: Win OS

Description: Very simple port scanner that allows you to (and obliges you) to chose the port that you wish to scan. It will then check if that port is open or not for every person that joins a channel you are on. The script has a *.hlp file which explains what it does and also gives contact information etc. It's fairly easy to use, given the fact that you are prompted for the port to scan for when you first load the addon. You can also control it by using the popup menus provided the menubar section. The addon appears to work. As it is very simplistic, there's nothing much to comment upon. When it finds the open port, it will display the information in a custom window. Unfortunately, the lines are not wrapped there, so you have to make the window extra large in order to see everything ... provided you have a high enough resolution for it all (or a small enough font).
