Description: Filter script that filters out certain things such as notices, comic chat text, advertisements, etc. for people who frequent busy mp3 channels. There is some documentation this time, describing the uses of the script and its different sections through a custom window once you have installed the addon. Once loaded into remotes, you will be asked to configure the script settings through a simple dialog window. You can access the dialog window through the menubar or the channel popups in the future. The addon seems to work better than the previous version eventhough there still appear to be a few bugs. I had a few problems saving some of the settings eventhough it seemed to be rather inconsistant. About 80% of the time, it works. As for the actual filtering, it also works. Title: Fugitive Away System 3 3

Format: Win OS

Description: An away addon that supports quick away and away nicknames, and auto away on idle. The readme was very brief, but did include how to set the script up. The away system itself isn't too special, it will let you choose what your away nick should be, what the message is and it even gives out your email to the channel. In terms of problems, you won't get anywhere with this script unless you configure it first. Otherwise you will get a ton of /nick errors. The timer activation error message appears (use a . to silence it) and the timers themselves are used in a bit of an odd manner. This sums up the coding quite well: a bit of a mess, but that's ok for a first attempt. This script could be improved dramatically if it allowed the user more customisation, for example setting how long the auto away on idle works for, how long between away messages, etc... Overall, this is a good first attempt at a script, and hope that the author takes into account some of these comments and he should do well.

Title: Fugitive Away System 2

Description: Fugitive Away System is a simple away system that allows you to go away and return from it. It works alright once you get it loaded. The documentation provided gives you some quick information, but was not too informative on where to find the addon menus (Which there is only 1 and it's in a channel menu). There is a problem, though, if you do not set a nickname. You will get this error: * /nick: insufficient parameters when you try to set yourself away. If you get disconnected while you're away, coming back will give you problems: * /ame: not connected to server. This same error occurs if you try to set yourself away while you're not connected to a server. The coding was rather, in a light word, sloppy. There were uneccessary slashes everywhere. Most of the code could be optimized a whole lot and the timer could use a better name (right now it uses the default /timer name). There was also no unload feature, so you will be stuck with manually unloading the script file and it's variables. All in

Title: Generic Mp3 Lister 1

Description: Little mIRC addon that allows you to list all your mp3s in a specified directory (or the default drive, if no directory was specified). Popup support. This addon uses a batch file instead of mIRC's $findfile() function. It's quite a bit faster. The author wrote an informative readme file with a description of what it is that the addon actually does. Once loaded, simply follow the instructions. The addon works quite well and I don't really have any complaints regarding its efficiency. It's quick and it works. However, I would have liked to see a teeny bit more of error checking on the part of the author's, in the case of the user not setting a mp3 directory and the message that the addon echos. I have also found that the DOS window doesn't actually close by itself after it has done its job. Also a slight complaint about the 'About' section clearing the window .. *shrug*. Title: GetBox Pro 2.1

Description: Addon script that monitors the announcements of people playing songs in channels and then lists these songs in a custom window in an easy !nick filename format. There wasn't much documentation provided, only a brief readme file that had the setup instructions. Unfortunately, I didn't even know what the script is supposed to do until I looked at the code. The addon starts running automatically. There doesn't appear to be an on/off switch or anything like that. :o) While you are allowed to specify what files to listen for (wave/midi/mp3, etc.), the script has a major problem. It has a bracket mismatch and that prevents the entire thing from working until you remove one of the brackets (around line 422). Once that has been done, it works more or less. There are some files that the script misses, but that's not a surprise, considering all the scripts out there.
