Description: Addon script with dialog interface that allows you to store, add/remove and display quotes either privately, to people in channels or to specific people only. Quite a number of a features such as Allow/Ignore lists, flood protection, etc. The addon is easily installed. When first running the *.exe file, it will open up a text file with setup instructions and various things to watch out for. The documentation is also pretty nice, the author even taking the time to write a short Windows *.hlp format file. From what I can tell, most of the script seems to work pretty well. The dialogs are clean and well organized. For easy use, there are also popups available in the nicklist of a channel. However, there are some small bugs. The addon's documentation is impressive. It has its own windows help file with detailed information about the script, its features, its author and history. The script was easy to install, which it taking care of all the details such as directories. The main dialog interface is accessable through the channel and menubar popups. The popups themselves are dynamic easily understandable. I disliked the fact that you are obliged to install the script into the main mIRC directory. Title: Elizabethan Insulter 1

Description: An ... interesting (not sure if that's the word for it ;) little addon that basically consists of allowing you to insult people in "Elizabethan period style" either in public or in private. Author included setup instructions and other interesting information. . It would have been nice if the author could have allowed you to install the script in any directory of your choice instead of insisting on the main mIRC one though. The insults are triggered through aliases or popups. While running the script, I didn't encounter any bugs. In fact, it even does a bit of a grammar check for you. "A" will automatically be replaced with "An" if the word that follows it starts with a vowel. The principle of the addon is actually quite simple. You have three lists: 2 lists of adjectives and one list filled with nouns. The addon will just take a random word from each list and put them together. You'll get results such as "Thou paunchy, beef-witted boar-pig!" or "Whoever, thou art a fobbing, full-gorged miscrea

Title: Encryption Script

Description: Got something to hide? This is a small script that allows you to encrypt and decrypt text using the provided dll. Configuration is done via a small dialog window. The readme file was very brief, and you can only open the encryption dialog via the /encrypt alias - no popups. Four levels of encryption are provided to satisfy all your privacy needs (to a certain extent, according to the authors). Text is encrypted using a key (01-99). Once you have selected your settings, the script is easy enough to use. Just talk! The coding is well done, as far as I could see without actually being able to look at the dll. What I would like to see done is make the dialog accessible via popups, and use a drop down combo of the possible keys that you could use. I didn't like the fact that if you select the binary option, it looses most non letters, which includes numbers and control codes. This script would have been a lot better if I could have called /encrypt (type) (text) and /decrypt (type) (text), or $encry

Title: Encryption Thingy 1.2

Format: Win OS

Description: Set of two identifiers that you can use for encryption purposes, namely $encypt() and $decrypt (). This script is not intended for newbie users but rather as a tool for any existing scripts that you may already have. The author included some detailed (and difficult to understand for newbies) explanations at the beginning of the remote file. However, you would have to know how to look there. There aren't any popups or other scripts that give you help or allow you to easily use the script and the encryption is not random. However, the coding was pretty well done and the author took pains to actually use local aliases for his identifiers. What is also nice about the script is that it allows you to set your own key, whereas many other encryption identifiers have a preset key for you.
