Description: Cute and artsy little pager that works that displays the pages that you get through a television type screen complete with sound effects and control buttons. It saves the past pages for you to easy browse through those above-mentioned controls and allows you view the longer messages (the ones that don't fit on the screen) by opening a custom window. There is a short and to the point readme file included. It explains what the script does and also gives contact information. Due to the simplistic nature of the setup, everything is easy to use and the author even included a procedure at the beginning to see if his addon may interfere with existing scripts. ;) Neat. Everything appeared to be working fine, lots of error checking and the like on the part of the author. The coding was also well done with local variables and it was also clean and easy to read. Title: DiNaStY FoNt ChOoSeR 2.1

Description: Another version of the Font Chooser script. Basically allows for the text that you write to come out in a ASCII talker of your choice. You can chose to add bold/underline/take out colours, etc. There are several built-in "fonts" to chose from, you can modify them at will, in addition to the foreground and background colour. Dialog interface. The readme file is fairly complete with setup instructions, contact information and history of versions. The addon is easy enough to use. However, I should warn you that you should not try to use this addon with mIRC Version 5.7 due to the /loadbuf & dialog bug. You will have to load both *.mrc files manually since only loading the *load file is not going to work. The author made a mistake by putting one of the custom aliases into the wrong file. Well, there's not much for me to say. The addon has a scrolling effect for the dialogs and it seems to have good error checking for the most part. Title: Dialog Grabber 5.8

Format: Win OS

Description: Dialog Grabber is a small program that extracts dialog tables from program files and dlls, making the usually tedious task of dialog creation much, much easier. Along with a very informative html readme, the source code is included, which gave Dialog Grabber top marks documentation wise. When extracting dialogs, you have a choice of what to call the dialog, what size system to use (Two versions of DBU, and Pixels). A view function is also included so you can preview the dialog before extracting it, very nice and quick. The author also noted that the program will not extract menus, tabs, or icon_files, but thats not a major for me. Other good things about Dialog Grabber is that it can append a dialog to an existing file, so you don't have to manually copy paste dialogs or overwrite old dialogs. I also felt rather pleased to be able to go through my favourite programs (GetRight for one) and see how they did things. Title: Dialog IRCop Scan 2.5

Description: IRCop scanner (channel, server and network wise) with dialog interface. The author included a nice readme file with installation instructions, contact information, credits, etc. The addon is also easy to use, the dialog interface easily reached through the channel, status and menubar popups. The addon allows to chose what kind of search you would like to search, either network wide, server wide or channel wide. You can chose a channel from the current ones that you are on. You have to "refresh" the channel list everytime you join a new one or part an old one in order to get the most updated list. A list of all available servers can be gotten by pressing a button. I would like to see the servers listed in alphabetical order. It might be easier on people who are looking for a specific server. :) There's also the possibility of adding support for other major networks such as EFnet or DALnet that support the /stats p (optional server) command to allow you to view the opers from that server and the

Title: Dialog NickComp 2000

Format: Win OS

Description: Nick Styler addon with bold/underline control codes and dialog interface. No colours. There is a nice readme file included by the author with setup instructions, contact information and the like. The addon is easy to install. Once loaded, use the "/nickcomp" alias to open the dialog window. No popups appear to be present. The dialog window is clean. You have an On/Off button in addition to several selections. The preview of the selection is not as clear as it could be. The description for at least one of these styles also appears to be incorrect. For example, one of them is shown as being only bold. However, when using the actual completer, the script also capitalized the last letter of the nick. There are some bugs. For instance ... the styler has trouble dealing with nicks that are only composed of a single letter. When using the default style, you will also be prevented from saying anything that starts with "someone-on-channel: message". You'll get an error of "completion Unknown command".
