Pulsator screenshot I brought you Exclusive news on this game last week, and now I have been given more details on what looks to be an excellent game.

Pulsator is an excellent looking shoot-em-up from 'Fullspeed Creative Development'. In the words of the authors it is the first game in this genre that makes full use of the Amiga hardware.

The game boasts many features some of which have never been seen in an Amiga shoot-em-up before. The game will feature 512 colours on screen at one time, with paralax scrolling, all this will run at 50 frames per second.

There will also be a special 2-player mode included, I'm not sure on the exact details on this yet, but from what I have heard it sounds very good. The game also boasts a massive weapons system, with loads of different weapons and upgrades. I am also told that the game will contain many levels with eack of these being massive. Each level will also contain hugh guardians at the end, some of which may be bigger then the screen.

As well as this the game will also contain many special effects such as water, fog, rain, specal lighting effects and many more. The game will also contain 8-channel sound.

The game requires quite a high powered machine to run, currently the machine needed is a 68030 with 4Mb Fast RAM. There will be two versions of the game, one on Disk and another on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM version will contain enhancements on the disk version including animated movie-sequences, more levels and worlds and sound played directly off the CD.

The full game will be available in January 1998. Hopefully I will able to bring you more details soon, there will hopefully also be a playable demo available soon.
