I have been informed by a reliable source that Street Racer will finally get an
Amiga release. If all goes to plan the game will be released by Guildhall
Leisure in Autumn of this year.
Street Racer was first planned for release over a year ago by Ubi-Soft, since
then the game has been finished but it was decided by Ubi-Soft that it was not
worth releasing it due to the state of the Amiga market.
As I'm sure many of you know Street Racer is a racing game (Funny that ;)
similar to Xtreme Racing and the Lotus Trilogy of games. The game will be AGA only and
althought it only received a small amount of press prior to it's original
release date, it did look very good. It was virtually a direct port of the
very successful Megadrive version, although it is not known if anything was
taken out or if any improvements were made.
