News has reached me that Direct Software have not actually gone out of business like I reported a few weeks ago. All that has happened is that the people that were behind 'The Haunted' and the other games projects have left the company and started there own. Direct Software as a games distributer are still trading.
A interesting rumour has been floating around. Apparantly and un-named group are working on a port of EF2000 for Power PC Amigas, how true this is I don't know but if it is true it is excellent news..
A new Command & Conquer clone has been announced. It is called 'Counterstrike'. It is still very early in development and has a lot of work to be done yet before any ideas on how good it is can be formed.
