Following on from the preview that I done of this game, I now bring you news of an update. The author has taken on board the critisiams of the original version and has made changes that he believes will improve the game.

If you have not heard of this game before, then read on.... Flyin' High is a texture mapped racing game that is set to take the top place in the amiga racers league. Unlike 'Xtreme Racing' Flyin' High also features hills and slopes which adds a lot to the game. The game caters for both high and low powered amigas, with a selection of screenmodes to run the game in, so allowing you to get the best out of the game. For more information why not take a look at my Preview of this game.

Short VisabilityMedium Visability
Long Visability

Back? Good! Well if you have read the preview you will have noticed that there were a few things that I didn't like about the original version. These things included the control of the car and the way in which the horizon pops up so quickly. Well, you'll be happy to hear that both of these problems have been fixed in this version. You are now given the option to set the control sensitivity, putting this on the low setting makes the game nuch easier and more fun to play. There is also the option to set the visability, this can be set to either short, medium or long. The difference between these can be seen in the screenshots above, I'm sure you'll agree the long visability makes the game much better. Oh, BTW see of ya can beat my best time of 24:96 :)

There are also a few other little changes here and there. If it continues like this, Flyin' High could turn out to be an excellent game.
