Amiga Nutta Editorial - 03rd September '97

Hi there,

Another week goes by and it's another week of releases being put back. We have been promised these 'next generation' of Amiga games for quite a while now and we are yet to see one. Ok, Flyin' High has been released but from the feedback that I have had this is a HUGH dissapointment, other then this what has there been? Virtually Nothing!

The only release that we have had that has impressed me at all is Trapped 2. This is a very nice looking game that contains some very good gameplay features. Although Trapped 2 has only just been released the author is already looking into doing a follow-up for it.

However, the lack of releases will hopefully be changing in September. One game that is certain for release if Strangers (September the 4th). Also if all goes to plan we will see Wasted Dreams, UropaČ, Final Odyssey, Hover Bomber and maybe even Shadow of the Third Moon. Maybe, finally we will get some of them games that have been promised for so long....

This week see some news on an astounding looking game that is coming from Vulcan. It is called Hard Target, it is a Virtual Cop like game, a first for the Amiga. Just take a look at the screenshots, they look brilliant. Also this week there is news on Gloom 3, and an update on Pinball Brain Damage which will now be published by APC&TCP.

Bye for now,
