Amiga Nutta Editorial - 2nd July '97

Hi there,

Well....What a week it has been for Amiga gamers. There has been quite a lot of games news week, some of which is very surprising, and some that just hard to believe.

One of the biggest pieces of news this week has been the release of 'The Shadow of the Third Moon' demo. This is and excellent Flight Simulator that used a very good voxel engine. I very much suggest that you donwnload the demo, you won't be disapointed.

On a bad note I have heard that Direct Software have ceased trading, this is a massive blow to the Amiga in general although there is some good news to come out of it all. That good news is that a new company called 'Alive Mediasoft' has been formed by a few former members of Direct Software, they plan to release some conversions of popular PC games such as Doom and Dark Forces. You may find this very hard to believe, I don't mind saying that I do.....

Other news this week includes some more info on Pulsator and news on a new game from Aurora Works...

Also, just as a small favour. I would like readers of this site to mail me and tell me what they think. What can be improved, things you would like to see on it, and of course any critisisms you have of it. Send all mail to comments@nutts.demon.co.uk

Anyway, bye for now,

Amiga Nutta
