This is still not fixed in Texinfo 3.6, and I've just had another user report this as a bug in the Debian package. Is there likely to be any progress soon ? When you reply, please preserve the Subject line and send copies to debian-bugs, Emilio Lopes and Michael Deisher, as I have done. Thanks. Ian Jackson. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to use anywhere the variables where it stores the answers ! Observed symptoms are that the arrow keys beep and generally do odd things, rather than working as expected.
