From: Ian Jackson <ian@chiark.chu.cam.ac.uk>
To: Debian bugs submission address <debian-bugs@pixar.com>
Package: xs3
Version: 3.1.2-1
I see:
AUDIT: Fri Nov 3 09:21:37 1995: 23964 X: client 15 rejected from IP 127.0.0.1 port 32517
Auth name: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1
But, from netstat we can see that the port wasn't 32517 (0x7f05) but
1407 (0x057f):
tcp 1 0 localhost:6000 localhost:1407 TIME_WAIT
There are probably other places where the server should convert port
numbers between host and network byte order.
Ian.
