This is not an actual bug, but in my opinion, it's not wise to have
default8x16 as the default font in /etc/rc.boot/console. Shouldn't it
rather be iso01.f16 in unix world?

As I have reported several times before, /etc/rc.boot/console should
*not* install *any* font by default.
The effect of doing so is to screw up the console on some systems (eg
mine). There is no need for it.
