The installation tool does not allow a NFS volume to be used unless it is
mounted manually before dselect is executed: Either add access method NFS
or soften the block device check.

The initial network configuration should ask for secondary nameservers!
It should also ask for the lookup order (hosts,bind,nis - see below)

The initial network configuration should ask for the NIS domain (maybe
only in expert mode?) and start ypbind if one is provided.

The initial network configuration script should ask whether to start a local
routing daemon. This is very helpful if you have more than one router on your
LAN.
BTW. Unless more than one interface is configured the default options of routed
should be '-q' !!!

And one last note:
The install tool does not display flashy advertisements and registration
requests like Windows does while installing/configuring.
I consider this a true feature, not a bug. ;-)
