Ian Jackson suggests:
   The `w3-el' package should list the virtual package `X11R6' instead of
   the concrete package name `xbase' in its control file.

I don't see why.

w3-el doesn't require any specific version of X (essentially, it uses
the command line interface to various X aware programs).  And, while I
can't predict that future upgrades of X will use xbase, I feel this is
as stable as any of our package names...

I'm marking this as done.

[P.S. I didn't receive a copy of this bug report originally -- I found
it while browsing the html version of the bug log.]
