Hi, Sorry about the unknown package. I am having problems with
the default permissions of /dev/null. I'll change them but perhaps
one of the installed packages set them up incorrectly. The permissions
after installation are:
oleta% ls -al /dev/null /dev/zero
crwxr-xr-x 1 1114 dialout 1, 3 Aug 5 1994 /dev/null
crw-rw-rw- 1 root sys 1, 5 Aug 5 18:04 /dev/zero
So perhaps one of the modem packages did it. The cron.daily jobs
find and smail's checkerr give permission denied messages when they
run.
