Subject: perl fails to make headers first time...
Date: Sun, 30 Jul 1995 02:25:02 -0400
From: "James A. Robinson" <jimr@simons-rock.edu>

Package: perl
Version: 5.001-3

On my initial install perl said it could not make the headers, I can
make a guess that this was because it does not depend on source, and
therefore dpkg would not run source's postinst (to make the
/usr/include/xxx) links before running perl's postinst. Perhaps perl
should require "includes | source" or perhaps there should be a
seperate perl-headers package that just installs and runs the script?
