vim now uses update-alternatives.

(a) vim shouldn't ask this question.  It should install itself if
there isn't a vi already installed, and not if there is, just like the
other vi clones.

(b) The question doesn't make it clear that it's only going to install
itself as /usr/bin/vi.  At first I recoiled in horror, thinking it
might edit /etc/profile to set EDITOR or something ...
