First Italian magazine dedicated to Amiga

History

The magazine born in 1987, when in Italy nobody listen the Amiga voice and few people believed in this wonderful machine. Enigma was the first Amiga magazine in Italy and the first edited with Amiga systems for long time, but recently logistic reasons push us to use other systems. Enigma Amiga Run is sold in newsstands at 15.000 italian liras with CD-ROM included.

More info...

Our monthly magazine is not only the leader on the Italian market with a circulation of 15,000 copies, but actually it is one of the oldest at international level - it was launched in 1987!!

Nowadays we have reached the n¡92 issue, because we didn't suspend our publications during the "long dark night" that AMIGA suffered.

Our mission is to combine the resources and specialized skills residing within the AMIGA Community with the technical expertise and experience of our department to provide an high level of information both on the technical and on the market point of view.

That's why we have been the first AMIGA magazine world-wide including a monthly CD-ROM!

So we can provide our readers with a lot of shareware, commercial demos and exclusive releases of productivity applications.

This is an incentive for them to send us their works for publication, and in fact we have reached the 22th CD-ROM.

Our link with the International AMIGA Community is getting every day stronger thanks to our Web (http://www.skylink.it/ear) which is linked to Amiga WEB Directory, the most comprehensive Amiga Resources on the Net (http://www.cucug.org/amiga.html).

According to our strategy, we provide a variety of services to our readers & subscribers, including:

  • 1. On-line info within our WEB
  • 2. Newsgroup of Enigma Amiga Run readers
  • 3. Special commercial offers
  • 4. Tutorials
  • 5. Direct mailing

Recently we moved our headquarters from Milan (Italy) to Valencia (Spain) in order to work on some new projects.

First of all, besides to the Italian one, now we are ready to introduce a Spanish edition of our magazine in Spain and, why not?, all over South America.

The first response we received from the Amiga Community at the experimental publication on our WEB of the Spanish edition (http://www.skylink. it/ear/01spa.html) was very positive.

We hope you also can find interesting this opportunity.

Our editorial dream is to make a multi-language edition (English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish) of a CD-ROM magazine, but, maybe, regarding this we may have a talk....and we need help.

Now we need your great collaboration. We have to cooperate in reborn the market confidence in Amiga platform. For this reason it's very important to demonstrate the high level of development that Amiga community worldwide still is achieving. Let's us know all new development sending us all your press releases! If you send us all your new software and hardware products for reviewing we will cover them in our magazine.

We also can enclose your Demos and Shareware products for free in our monthly CD-ROM.

If you are planning your advertising strategy please consider that our price are very interesting and we have the right solution for Italian and Spanish markets.

Best regards - Michele Iurillo (Editor in Chief yuri@skylink.it)
