HALL OF FAME MAINTENANCE

Those of you who read the section on Hall of Fame maintenance in last month's edition should ignore everything you read! I have come up with what I think to be an even better solution to the problem of slow times cluttering up the HoF. Rather than remove the times of people who haven't participated for over two years, I have decided to keep everybody in the HoF, but only include the Top 50 times for each circuit in the published file. Don't worry, though - all times ever submitted are used in the calculation of the current scores.

I should point out that previously deleted members and their times have now been reinstated. I apologise to everyone who has suddenly dropped down twenty places or so in the standings as a result of this, but these are now, in effect, the 'true' positions.

Depending on demand, I may make the 'full' version of the Hall of Fame available to anyone who wants it. So, if you would like to receive this instead of the Top 50 version, send me an email and let me know.
