Amiga has always had and forever will a very singular history, unusual if compared with other computers' one: Amiga user is different from other OSes's user. The one who use Amiga does know deeply his machine and what it hides "inside" the case, he knows how a lot of OS's parts work and, this is the most important thing, always try to program something.
It is not just for luck that Aminet is the world's largest BBS: one who loves Amiga program with passion and wants his program used by as many user as possible: this is one of motivations of a so large PD and Shareware productions of professional level, cheap in price and that on other platforms they would cost four/five times more.
Amiga users ideas are not just limited to software production: magazines (such as Amiga Blast), productions, chat groups and a lot of other stuff are just dayly news.
And even here in Italy, Amiga scene is growing fast.
It is just born, but is growin fast, the AGI (Amiga Group Italy) that has the goal of creating a "WEB" to support Amiga users, a meeting place for developers and users, but also a referring point for those who are looking for help and info.
A subscribed point of AGI already exists in a lot of cities, and in more is forming. We of Amiga Blast are also busy in creating a referring point on WWW with all Amiga developer's addresses in Italy and foreign.
Amiga is still growing. And it will continue to grow, also under the light of very good news that continuosly come from a lot of places about the future of our beloved machine.
