Times Tables
The
Times Tables is an excellent little program for those who are learning to multiply.
It is a very simple program and therefore very easy to use.
The user is presented with a times table and has to match up the right answers
with the multiplications in this table by selecting one of the numbers in the answer box.
It is very clear to the user how to use the program and you will find that
your child has no problem at all using the software.
This ease of use is all down to the excellent design of the software and
the responsiveness of the user interface.
If you select the right answer, a small sample is played and the answer is "moved"
into its corresponding place in the times table straight away. This feature is done
very well and makes it a pleasure to get the right answer!
Also, there is a little boy or girl in the bottom left of the screen holding a sign/balloon.
If you got the right answer, the sign/balloon is filled with a big tick mark and the
character makes a funny face!!
If you select the wrong answer, a great "horn" sample is played, the sign/balloon is filled
with an X and the girl/boy makes a sad face!!
All of these features used together make answering the questions a very
enjoyable experience!!
All the times tables from 1 to 12 are included. To select which times table
you want to do, you simply have to click on one of the 12 boxes on the main screen
(You don't have to attempt them in any particular order if you don't want to).
Remember to check out the screenshots
- each screenshot is accompanied with more information on the software!!
Conclusion This is an excellent little program which is well
worth downloading for anyone whose child is learning the time tables.
This software is a great teaching aid as well as great fun to use. It really will
help your child to learn the times tables!!
Software as good as this doesn't come around often - add it to your collection now!!
