F1GP-Ed 3.40 (2.6.98)
F1GP-Ed is an editor/enhancer for the Amiga version of Formula One Grand Prix / World Circuit.
It allows you to adjust F1GP almost completely to your satisfaction. No
longer is losing concentration the greatest threat to becoming world
champion. With this program you'll be really pushing yourself just to put
your car near the front of the grid. Full details of what is possible are
contained in the documentation.

F1GP-Ed 3.40 released, at last! Check
out all the new features.
Yes, it's finally here... F1GP-Ed 3.40 has quite a few new features, some
of which are provided by a major update to f1gp.library. These include
some revolutionary patches to the game which are installed transparently,
so you may not notice much difference. One of these patches adds a patch
to the game which gets it to open f1gp.library when the game has loaded,
which in turn automatically enables all the bug fix and enhancement patches
provided by the library. Another patch (AGA only) removes the limitation
of the game only being able to run on PAL or NTSC screens, and there's
also a patch which makes the game slightly quicker at updating the graphics
display on AGA Amigas. The "Less cars in races" patch has been given an
overhual, and as a result it is no longer a memory patch. All these
changes will remove a lot of the confusion and hassle of getting F1GP
and F1GP-Ed to work on your system.
It would not surprise me in the least if there are some bugs, as there
have been a lot of major changes to the internal workings of both F1GP
and F1GP-Ed. However, it has been put through a lot of beta testing
during the past few months. If you come across a problem, please let
me know using my new e-mail address: oliver.roberts@iname.com.

31-May-98: New backdrops -
David Evans sent me a ton of lovely backdrops featuring F1 action from
the early '90s. Much to my liking, these include over 30 pictures
of Nigel Mansell. In fact, the collection is so huge, I had to split
it in two!
