The headers section within the preferences allows you to add a list of headers to be shown when you read a messages. These are, of course, in addition to the normal to:, from:, subject:

These are shown when you select Show Significant Headers from the reader option within the Settings menu.

8.46 Signatures

Allows you to create your signatures, follow-up and reply headers. The commands for the follow-up and reply headers are:

%r sender realname
%d reference message date
%g group name
%s reference message subject
%m reference message Message-Id

8.47 Buttons

This section allows you to define the button bank within three sections of Microdot-II:

The Main GUI (named as "Group List" within the button prefs)
Group List (named as "Group Contents" within the button prefs)
Message Reader (named as "Reader Buttons" within the button prefs)

• Image: use the requestor button to find the image for the button you want to define.

• Label: assign a "label" to your button. Basically this would be the text if you selected "text only" view mode or "text and icons".

• Hotkey: assign a hotkey to your button ctrl+k, alt+p etc

• Action: assign an "action" to your button. There will be a list of actions/commands you can choose.

• Font: if you choose "text only" or "images and text" within the view mode selector, choose the font with this option.

• View Mode: view your button bar as "icon only", "icons + text", "text only" or even remove the icon bar altogether!
