Vulcan are to release a 3D expansion for Jetpilot. This will hopefully include such things as mountains etc. It will also, if all goes to plan include some kind of texture mapping.

'Football Glory Indoors' by Croteam is to be released by Vulcan Software as 'Five Aside Soccer'. At the moment the game is going through the final tweaking stages. It will hopefully be released soon, more news as I get it.

A new Dune 2 inspired game is to be released, it is called Forgotten Forever and will hopefully be released in the first quarter if next year. You can find more information about in the preview that I have written. You can also visit the website of the authors.

This ones a bit more of a rumour then news but here goes.... I have recently heard that TFX will at last be released for the Amiga, hopefully in February 1997. Apparantly Ocean were waiting for the specification if the amigas currently around to rise so that they would be able to run TFX. The was also supposedly a problem with the main programmeres contract running out, allthough unlike some people have said he did not run of to America with the code. It is still in Oceans possestion.

Another rumour. Myst is to be released for the Amiga in March '97, the surprise is that that it will aparently be released by Clickboom ????

News has reached me of another space exploration game that is going to be released. It is called Y3D and will run on a minimum spec of 50Mhz 68030 and CDROM, more news as I get it.

More news on Blitzbombers3D. Code for the game engine exists, sadly only on the Pc at the moment. However C libraries are being worked on to make the transistion to the Amiga easier, so we might see it yet.

Putty Squad, due to be released by Acclaim has been cancelled.

Sim Tower due from Maxis has been cancelled.

A special version of DNA is to be produced for Pure Amiga.

Championship Manager 2 has been delayed yet again, it is now scheduled for a January '97 release.

A 96/97 version of Sensible World of Soccer has been released. It is availble as a full product for £19.99 (Who hasn't got this game?) and as an update for £9.99. As far as I know it only contains updated data and has no noticable new features.

A new football managment game is to be released. It is called Euro League Manager and is being programmed by Manyk. It should be available in December and is looking quite good. It will probably be avilable before CM2 so for you football managers out there it should be something to look forward to.

A new demo of the foundation editor has been made available, it only gives a small insight to what the game will be like, but it looks very promicing.

Epic Marketing are developing a range of games for the Amiga to be released throughout the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters of 1997. They will be aimed to higher speced machines. As well as the new games they will also be releasing games that have not been previously released in the Uk. Hopefully I will have more news soon....

More news on the Babylon 5 inspired game called Explorer2260 has been revealed, for a full feature list click here, the author has been approached by a software house so it looks like it may be getting a commercial release.
