============================== HONDURAS ============================== Honduras is a fan-shaped country in Central America, which spreads out towards the Caribbean Sea. Four-fifths of the country is covered in mountains, which are indented with river valleys running towards the very short Pacific coast. There is little change in temperatures throughout the year, and rainfall is heavy. The country is sparsely populated, and, although agricultural, only about 25% of the land is cultivated. Bananas, grains, coffee and sugar are important crops, and these are grown mainly on the coastal plains. Area (Sq.
