------------------------------------------------------------ The Amigaguide guide to Comms Version 1.1 ©1994 Paul Moore The guide is freely distributable as long as it is not altered and all files remain intact. ------------------------------------------------------------- The Amigaguide guide to comms is intended as an introduction and help to all who are involved in the world of computer communications. It does not contain the answers to Life, the universe and everything. Well probably not. This is the first Public release of the Amigaguide to comms. To use it properly you will need: 1)an Amiga 2)a copy of Amigaguide(avaliable on BBS's) or Multiview(free with Workbench3) 3)a copy of Display, the picture viewer. There are several pictures, and without this program you will be unable to see them! Consult your manual/the documentation if you are unsure how to use these programs. I believe there is a PC program that will display Amigaguide docs but I don't know it's name.Oh Well, never mind, this is meant to be an Amiga biased guide anyway. ********************************************** * TOOLTYPES NOTE: * * * * If the guide doesn't work by clicking on * * it and you are using Amigaguide, make sure * * it's in the C or Utilities drawer on your * * System disk. * * If you are using something else such as * * Multiview then select Information from the * * Icon menu and change the default tool from * * Amigaguide to Multiview and click on save. * * * ********************************************** Thanks Paul 6th May 1994
