The camera, in addition to lights and objects, can be attached to a path. This gives you the effect of the camera moving on a dolly or track. In this demo, the camera will use a path while remaining aimed at an object. First, we must set the number of animation frames in the Action Editor. In the Stage Editor, we will create an OPEN PATH for the camera. NOTE: You can also use the Detail Editor to create paths. Objects loaded in the first frame will exist through all following frames. In the Action Script, the camera's default Position time-line is deleted. A new Position time-line set for FOLLOW PATH will be added. A new TRACK TO OBJECT Alignment time-line is also added. This keeps the camera aimed at the object while it is moving along the path. MAKE is used to build the animation preview. PAUSED: Press Space when the animation has completed. Demonstration Completed!
