ALONG PATH mode, extrudes a flat shape by following a path. First, let's create a path shape to use. We will use the Add Open Path function to create the necessary path object. Edit Path mode lets you adjust the path shape. Make sure you exit Edit Path mode before trying to select other functions. You can find or change the path name in the Attributes requester. Now make sure the object you want to extrude is picked. The PATH field sets the name of the path we want to extrude along. A larger SECTION value makes the extrusion more smooth. `ALIGN Y TO PATH, ro tates the shape to follow the path. ALIGN Y TO PATH, rotates the shape to follow the path. KEEP X HORIZONTAL, prevents tilting forward or back along inclined paths. `Y RO TATION, ro tates each section along its Y axis during extrusion. Y ROTATION, rotates each section along its Y axis during extrusion. X AND Z SCALING lets you taper or enlarge each section during extrusion. These values are scaling factors, multiplied against the current object size. Normally the object's axis is centered directly on the path during extrusion. `X AND Z TRANSLATE lets u offset the extruded segments on the X or Y ax ees. X AND Z TRANSLATE lets you offset the extruded segments on the X or Y axes. Demonstration Completed!
