Hide Points is available in any mode except PICK GROUPS or PICK OBJECTS.
For example, if we try to pick a point in the front view,
The actual picked point is at the rear rather than front of the object.
Hide Points can temporarily get the rear points out of the way.
First Select Hide Points.
Then pick the points you want hidden.
You can select REDRAW if necessary, to clean up the screen display.
Picking exact points is now more predictable and direct.
The full object returns when either PICK GROUPS or PICK OBJECTS is selected.
