CONFORM TO SPHERE is used to mold a flat object into a spherical shape. This can be compared to wrapping an elastic fabric around a ball. The object will be stretched in order to conform to the sphere shape. Let's use a simple primitive plane object for this demonstration. Make sure the object to mold is currently picked. Then select Conform to Sphere from the Mold requester. SPHERE RADIUS, sets the sphere size which will be used for wrapping. Generally, this value should be set to half the width of the object. OBJECT RADIUS, sets the amount of stretching to perform on the object. Generally, this value should also be set to half of the object's width. Larger values lessen stretching of the object during wrapping. Lower values cause the object's stretching to be more extreme.
