An object can be made to morph, or change into another object. This is done by setting a transition time-line in an object's Actor channel. This effect is only possible if the objects have equal points, edges & faces. We will use the Detail Editor to create two versions of an object. A simple plane object will be used as our example. It is saved in its original shape first. Now we will use MOLD to turn the plane into a ball shape. We will save this version of the plane under a different file name. In the Action Script, we need to set the number of frames for our animation. We can now load the starting object by ADDing it to the Action script. We will create a single frame time-line to load the first object. Next, a transitional time-line is added from the second to the last frame. This time-line will load the second object and set the morph transition. Transition count should be set to the difference between Start & End Frame. Notice how the time-line looks when a transition frame count is set. Camera Re-Track will be used to make sure the camera is pointed at the object. `MAKE is used to build the animation pre view. MAKE is used to build the animation preview. PAUSED: Press Space after the animation has completed. Demonstration Completed!
