     Constructing a Chinese "Horoscope" chart isn't very complicated, but can
 take about twenty to thirty minutes  of consulting tables and adding numbers
 - something a computer  can  do  in  seconds.  The  original version of this
 program was written for a  ZX Spectrum  and  despite loading from a cassette
 (and later a Microdrive cartridge -  remember them?) you could have the hard
 work over with in only a few minutes!

     This  program  will  do  all   your   calculations   and  give  a  brief
 generalisation, but it was only designed  as an AID to constructing Ming Shu
 charts.  However,  if  all  you  want  is  a  quick  summary of your friends
 characteristics this program is  ideal  (and  cheaper  than anything in your
 local bookshop!).

     Some PD advertisements have claimed "Ming Shu" to be 'A500 only'. To set
 the record straight..I have seen recent versions working quite happily on an
 A1200 - though I'll admit I didn't try to print-out the chart. If there were
 any minor compatibility problems they should now have disappeared.

     A1200 users may also be interested to find an  "Amiga.guide"  version of
 the manual. I've written this using "Hyper" rather than the usual Multi-View
 so I hope it stills looks Okay.

     I've also adopted the  Magic Workbench colour scheme as this seems to be
 the standard look now.  The icons are all drawn by Martin Huttenloher-except
 the actual Ming Shu icon. If the icons look too silly on your standard  Work
 -bench set-up then you should find the originals (both 1.3 and 2.0x+) in two
 hidden directories.

 expect from you?  Well, I  would  appreciate  any  comments, bug reports and
 suggestions for future upgrades. If  there  is  enough  interest I will keep
