HIPPOCRATES

Hippocrates(460BC - 357BC) was a Greek physician known as the "founder
of modern medicine". Born in Cos, he practised and taught medicine and
travelled widely throughout Greece. He was the author of a number of
medical works and set a very high standard of ethics in medicine.Even
today all doctors must take the Hippocratic oath.
