RUDOLF HESS FLIES TO BRITAIN

Just prior to the launch of the Russian invasion of Russia. Hitler's Deputy
made a solo flight to Scotalnd in the hope of bringing reconciliation
between Britain and Germany. He was arrested and sentenced to life
imprisonment in Spandau prison Berlin where he died in 1987 - apparently as
a suicide. Controversy still surrounds his flight, purpose and death.
