FOUR ELEMENTS
                              
 Between 2000BC and 1500BC, the Indus Valley civilisation recognised the
 existence of 4 basic elements of which they believed all matter was made
 up of - Earth,Wind,Fire and Water. This belief quickly spread to the West.
 Later developments refined this until eventually the Greeks theorised
 about the existence of the smallest possible particle - the Atom.
