ALBERT EINSTEIN
(1879-1955)

German-Swiss physicist and framer of the Theory of Relativity. Born at Ulm
in Germany he became a Swiss citizen and was appointed an Inspector of
Patents in Berne. In his spare time he took a Ph.D. at Zurich and soon he
was given the chair of Theoretical Physics at Zurich University. In 1905, he
published his Special Theory of Relativity and in 1815, his General Theory
of Relativity.
