AL CAPONE
(1898 - 1947)

American gangster born in Brooklyn. During the Prohibition, Capone built up
a criminal organisation in Chicago. In 1931 he was given a ten year sentence
for income tax evasion . He was released in 1939 but died of a venereal
disease in 1947.
