BLOODY SUNDAY, RUSSIA 1905

After a series of strikes and unrest, a mass but peaceful demonstration was
held in St.Petersburg in 1905. The army and cossacks fired on the crowds
causing hundreds of deaths. The legend of "Bloody Sunday" contributed to the
1917 Revolution.
