ZULU WAR
(1879)

War broke out between the British and the Zulus, led by their chief
Cetewayo. He severely defeated and annihalted a British column at
Isandhlwana but was repulsed at the heroic defense of Rorkes Drift and
finally utterly defeated at the Battle of Ulundi. Zulu power was broken and
incorporated into the British Empire.
