THE BATTLE OF THE ALAMO

The Alamo was a mission-fortress in San Antonio, Texas. It was laid under
seige by invading Mexican forces from 23rd Feb to 6th March 1836. It's
garrison of 150 men fought off 4,000 Mexicans but eventually all the
defenders were slain including James Bowie and Davy Crockett.
