BOSTON TEA PARTY

The so-called Boston Tea Party occured at the beginning of the American war
of Independence when a group of Bostonians, disguised as red indians boarded
a British ship in Boston harbour and threw cartons of tea overboard in
protest at the British Tea Tax.
