JAMES II
(1633-1701)
King of England and Scotland, 2nd son of Chales I. In 1660 he married Anne
Hyde and had 2 daughters. He was converted to Catholicism which caused
Parliament to overthrow him and invite William of Orange to take the throne.
He spent his last years in French exile.
