GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS
(1594-1632)

King of Sweden. Son of Charles IX, whom he succeeded in 1611. He fought
succesful wars against Denmark,Russia and Poland and championed the
Protestant cause in the Thory Year's War. He was killed in battle.
